The stretchy softshell with fleece is windproof, handles a passing shower with ease and breathes at the same time, making it comfortable outdoors from morning to early evening. The longer cut keeps the back warm, the cuffs on the sleeves prevent draughts and also allow the jacket to grow with the child for an extra season. Water resistance: 18,000 mm/H₂O, breathability: 12,000 g/m²/24 hrs. The softshell keeps things warm even when the wind is howling — yet when the sun comes out, children will not overheat thanks to the special membrane. Fleece-lined softshell is best suited to the cooler months. The material is extremely stretchy and supple; however, to preserve these remarkable properties of the stretchy softshell, the material may be more prone to abrasion. Put simply, it is a knit rather than a woven fabric, which means it has lower abrasion resistance. The material is not fully waterproof like a raincoat, but it handles light showers with ease. To maintain its excellent properties, we recommend not using fabric softener or a tumble dryer and re-waterproofing from time to time. The material does not contain harmful PFAS substances.
